Release of gCube 1.9.0 |

A new gCube major release has been released |

From this release gCube is adopting a new Portal technology moving from Gridsphere to Liferay. Therefore all the portlets previously compatible with GS portal are now been released to be Liferay compliant.

This new release contains also a new version of the gCube Content Management, that has been completely re-designed to exploit gCube plugin framework and to ensure distribution and replica management. The new Content Management is now able to support transparently several Storage plugins. This first version includes a plugin for the gCube StorageManagement and a OAI-PMH plugin.
In addition the following components have been enhanced/fixed:
* ResourceManager; fixed a potential issue occurring during the service deployment operation * NodeAccounting: a new portlet has been released to show infrastructure services usage * Messaging Consumer : infrastructure monitoring has been enhanced with possibility to configure Site-Managers and daily reports. * Aquamaps Publisher Service : a new service has been implemented to expose a REST browse interface for AquaMaps generated maps. * Home Library: Fixes performance problem on object persistence, new addscope operation added * ISPublisher: Enahnced with single point of thread execution and handlers for synch and asynch publications * DataTransformation : fixed a problem on the URI list * Application-Support Layer : A new OAI-PMH extension has been released, to expose trough this protocol gCube Content.
