The gCube Technical Committee (Tcom) brings together a diverse group of professionals, software developers and highly qualified researchers with complementary competences in grid computing and virtual research environments.

The gCube Tcom is working in strong collaboration with two user communities represented in the project by the “EUROPEAN SPACE AGENCY” and by “SCUOLA NORMALE SUPERIORE for its Center for the Data Processing of Texts and Images in the Literary Tradition (CTL)” and “RAI - RADIOTELEVISIONE ITALIANA S.P.A.”. Their contribution to the gCube system has been fundamental to identify user requirements and validate the complete system. In particular, they provided environmental data, models, tools, algorithms and instruments to integrate in the gCube framework.

DILIGENT is partially funded by the European Union under the Sixth Framework Program, Information Society Technologies priority (2002-2006) The European Union is established in accordance with the Treaty on European Union (Maastricht). There are currently 27 Member States of the Union. It is based on the European Communities and the member states cooperation in the fields of Common Foreign and Security Policy and Justice and Home Affairs.
